In 2020, as the Covid pandemic lockdown periods were announced, the Scottish LGBT+ charity, Pink Saltire, launched its #CommunityMatters series of online events to bring the community together, helping reduce isolation and loneliness for people around the country.

This included topical interviews, group discussions on issues affecting the community and their ‘Rainbow Responders’ campaign to support LGBT+ people through the worst impacts of the pandemic in Scotland.
